Meet the JAG Management Team

Tim Donovan, co-owner, has over twenty-eight (28) years experience in the criminal justice field. He served eight years in the United States Air Force as an Intelligence Operations Specialist. During his tour of duty, he received numerous commendations and medals for outstanding service. He began his probation / corrections career in 1990 as a Probation & Parole Officer for the State of Florida. During his tenure as a Probation & Parole Officer, he served in the Eighth and Third Judicial Circuits supervising felony offenders. While working as a Probation & Parole Officer, Tim gained valuable experience in the corrections industry by conducting surveillance of offenders, performing random drug screens, executing arrest of offenders, preparing pre and post sentence investigations, and testifying in courtroom proceedings. He is a 1989 graduate from the University of Tampa with a degree in Political Science and currently resides in Thomasville.

In 1997, he began his career in the private probation industry. From 1997 to 2001, he fulfilled the role of Probation Supervisor, District Manager, Field Operations Manager, and Director of Operations for the State of Florida. During that time, he implemented and/or managed over twenty-five (25) field offices, one hundred fifteen (115) employees, and over one hundred (100) municipal and county contracts throughout Georgia and Florida.

In January 2001, Mr. Donovan joined JAG as a co-owner overseeing Field Operations. His primary responsibilities include quality control of field operations, staff development, and JAG's Information and Technology Department. He was instrumental in the design and deployment of JAGWare - JAG's web-based case management software.

Kenneth Kight, co-owner, retired from the United State Marine Corps in 1995. During his tour of duty, he was a highly decorated Staff Non-Commissioned Officer. He received numerous leadership and service awards while serving in our United States Marine Corps. He has worked the past twenty-two (22) years in the criminal justice field.

He began his private probation career in 1995 as the Chief Probation Officer for the Dublin, Georgia office. In 1997, he was promoted to Southeast Georgia Regional Supervisor. During his tenure as a Regional Supervisor, he implemented and/or managed eight (8) probation offices in Southeast Georgia. In 1999, he was promoted to Director of Operations for the State of Tennessee, responsible for managing the overall daily operations of fifteen (15) offices, fifty (50) employees, and over forty (40) municipal and county contracts.

Since JAG's inception in 2000, Mr. Kight has been involved in every aspect of the operations of the company. He is involved in business development, quality control, client satisfaction, and customer management. He is also responsible for implementation of new contracts and has been very successful with many transitions in the central Georgia region. He is a firm believer in the customer management process and will ensure that each contracting customer is fully satisfied with the services provided. He is a native of Georgia and currently lives in Dublin.

Craig Taylor, co-owner, has over twenty-five (25) years experience in the Criminal Justice Field. A 1988 graduate of Valdosta State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, he served six (6) years with the Blakely-Early County Law Enforcement Department as a criminal investigator. During his tenure as a criminal investigator, he was responsible for completing case investigations for numerous homicides, burglaries, robberies, drug offenses, and many other major crimes.

He began his private probation career in 1994 as the Chief Probation Officer of the Albany, Georgia Office. Between 1997 and 2000, he served as a Regional Supervisor and State Director for the State of Georgia. During those years, he worked in over seventy-five (75) municipal and county courts throughout Georgia, and implemented and/or managed the daily operations of over thirty (30) probation offices all over the State of Georgia.

Since JAG's inception in 2000, his overall responsibilities include the daily operations and administrative functions of the company, Mr. Taylor serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He is committed to creating an enjoyable and stable work place for all of JAG's employees. He is also involved in staff recruitment, staff development and training, and customer satisfaction. He is a lifelong resident of Georgia and currently lives in Albany.
